Cine Express

On the west end of town, this famous restaurant fuses the feeling of a relaxed café with a fully stocked restaurant and cinema. Filled with students from Dawson College and Concordia, the back room’s huge screen often features students’ films as well as the ever-popular hockey or soccer game. It is a popular place to throw you down on a couch, chow down on an inexpensive panini and surf the Internet on their free portable touch-screens.

Paramount Montreal

977 Ste-Catherine W.
Situated right downtown in between Peel and McGill Metro, Paramount Montreal offers the largest and most lavish movie entertainment experience in the downtown core. The design is a tribute to the years of Art Deco, and includes a classy martini bar and a busy café. Situated in a turn of the century building, Adrenaline continues to share the rich history that the location possesses. This combined with an extremely devoted and qualified staff of certified artists will provide an unsurpassed level of comfort for the first time visitor as well as the experienced connoisseur.

YMCA

1440 Stanley
Montreal’s YMCA has become more than a place to cheaply rest your bags when in town; it has become a cornerstone to Montreal’s community. It includes an immense gym, a full-sized pool, a daycare centre, youth programs, various sporting events and a community volunteer centre. For those visiting, the facilities are both convenient and inexpensive.

Laser Quest

1226 Ste-Catherine W.
This dynamic new game combines the childhood success of hide & seek with high-tech tools to make a game that is both innovative and rousing. Montreal’s Laser Quest is played on a multi-leveled arena featuring flashing lights, smoke machines, and loud pounding music to help you jump, run and escape your laser-pistol carrying companions. Monday and Tuesdays are reserved for groups, while the rest of the week games are played from 5 to 9, and 5 to 11 on Fridays and Saturdays.

Pang Pang

1226 MacKay
Montreal’s newest Asian-style karaoke joint. Unlike American-style karaoke where the entire bar is privy to your screaming lyrics, Pang Pang offers private rooms that can be rented from $20 an hour. Just down the street from Ste-Catherine, it offers comfortable seating as well as a huge list of songs to choose from. Show your friends what you can do.

Sharx

1606 Ste-Catherine W.
Located in the basement of the Faubourg, Sharx offers a completely stocked pool-hall as well an 8-laned bowling hall. The outfit is very relaxed, posh and comfortable. The happy hour between 5 and 7 is a popular time for the snooker players to amass for the two-for-one special on regular beers. This is a great place to chill and have a couple of drinks during the day before heading out to your night-time destination.

Comedy Nest

Ernie Butler's Comedy Nest is located in the Pepsi Forum (Atwater and Ste-Catherine) - THIRD FLOOR.

Indoor parking is available for a flat fee. We invite you to enjoy yourself with us and we remind you to appoint a designated driver if necessary.

Ernie Butler was involved in entertainment and hospitality in Montreal for more than 30 years. His reputation as an entrepreneur, a bon vivant and someone who could make bank managers break into a cold sweat followed him into the comedy business where he became known far and wide as a promoter of top-flight talent.

Ernie could be abrasive and demanding at times. This was a reflection of how demanding (and often unforgiving) he was of himself. In the end, those who appreciated him for his energy and his devotion were rewarded with his support and his friendship.

Ernie passed away on August the 29th, 2007 after a brief illness. See an article from The Montreal Gazette. We miss him dearly. Donations to The West Island Palliative Care Centre in Ernie's name are most welcomed.

The Comedy Nest remains the premiere venue for comedy in Montreal and its reputation continues to grow in North America and beyond.

If you're new to The Nest, we invite you to enjoy everything Montreal's best comedy club has to offer. If you're among our frequent and loyal visitors, in Ernie's memory we thank you for your patronage and for your support.

Oasis à Oxygène

4059 St-Laurent Tel. 514.284.1196

Oxygen bars have been a global trend for a little while now and Oasis Oxygen is Montreal's first. This bar offers no alcohol and is entirely focused on your health and well-being. You can sit back and breath in some scented oxygen, while drinking some juice or water and even get a massage. Let me say that the incredibly relaxed atmosphere, the O2, the drinks, the massages do make wonders to relieve from the daily stresses...and also give you the much needed energy that will let you party all through the night.

G.I. Joe

1166 Ste-Catherine E.
The newest edition to the village saunas, G.I. Joe promises 4 floors of erotic pleasure including a terrace on the top floor. Popular with the kink community, it hosts Leather Sundays and a list of other widely attended events. If you’re lucky enough to be there on Wednesday you get free popcorn, pizza and porno!

Sauna Centre-Ville

1465 Ste-Catherine E.
Unlike the other village saunas, Sauna Centre-Ville tries to offer a more traditional bathhouse feel. Located in the center of the village, it has 60 rooms, a dry sauna, a steam bath, a snack bar and even music with volume control. It is the perfect place to come to if you need a place to relax with like-minded individuals during the day or evening.
